PATIENTS OVER VIEW ON
NEUROSKELETAL RE-ALIGNMENT THERAPY
From around my 10th week of
pregnancy I began to suffer from CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. I had never
even heard of it before then! I looked online and found that this
condition affects up to 28% of pregnant women and it listed the symptoms
that I could relate to.
Each night I would
wake around 10 times with my arms numb from the elbows to the wrists and
tingling in my hands and fingers. In the morning I would experience
pain in my wrists when trying to do something simple like chopping a
banana. I also found that I suffered numbness in my hands for up to 2
hours after waking, which made putting my make up on a real task! Then
throughout the day, especially when driving, my fingers would become
numb again.
I began
NEUROSKELETAL RE-ALIGNMENT THERAPY with Pippa at around my 25th week of
pregnancy and the results were both impressive and immediate. The
treatment is gentle and relaxing besides the benefit of helping my
condition.
I am
now just 31 weeks pregnant and I have been sleeping soundly for the past
4 weeks. I am experiencing no pain, numbness or pins and needles. I
did wonder at first exactly how the treatment could or would help me but
the results have been dramatic. I would strongly recommend anyone
suffering Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to have this treatment.
Thank you Pippa-Jane

PATIENT TESTIMONIAL
FOR NEUROSKELETAL
RE-ALIGNMENT THERAPY.
Miss
K Thomas
Date: July 2008
Before Pippa-Jane started
treating me, I was under the NHS pain clinic (in Llandudno North Wales)
and was receiving an eight needle facet block injection into my back
every six months.
They called me in for a
consultation and asked me what I would do without these twice yearly
jabs!!! And to start thinking about alternative methods. At the time I
felt total panic and distress, (so now looking back on it I was becoming
totally dependent on this method).
I went away and thought long
and hard and now I realise they were right.
My physiotherapist has given
me exercises to do; I am also using some of my Pilates exercises,
together with Neuroskeletal re-alignment therapy (N.S.R.T.).
I have not had a facet block
injection since last September (by which time normally I would be very
incapacitated and taking between 8-12 pain killers daily).
I was sceptical when
Pippa-Jane first mentioned this treatment and after the first treatment
I was thinking “ok that was very relaxing, but how’s it going to help”.
I felt a mixture of tingles, heat, wet, throbbing during the treatment.
But afterwards I became a total “body popper”.
My “Zombie walk” on rising in
the morning has completely gone.
I have just come home from
six days in hospital; normally I would be so incapacitated with being so
inactive.
I am so happy to report that
my pain is virtually non existent.
Would I recommend this
treatment Neuroskeletal re-alignment therapy to anyone? Absolutely
yes!!! For such an in evasive treatment the results are unbelievable,
and take it from me, I am the original doubting Thomas.

K Thomas (North Wales)

MY VIEWS ON N.S.R.T.

PIPPA-JANE THOMAS
Neuroskeletal re-alignment
therapy
I am a complementary therapist with a thirst for knowledge!!!
MY CONDITION:
I had a very bad car accident
many years ago. As a result I received a very severe whiplash injury. I
was unconscious for some time and could not move when I came round. I
had damaged the nerves in my neck and going up into my head. I was told
I was very, very lucky to be alive. I did to the most part make a full
recovery, i.e. I could walk again but I have to say I was now suffering
the most chronic headaches that never left me, and chronic back ache
plus sciatica. At the highest level of intake of pain killer I was
taking about thirty a day!!! Also a cocktail of other drugs. And still
no relief.
For years I tried all sort of
things anything. I then did a drug trial for a drug called Gabapentin
and through the good results I got, it was released for people with
nerve damage (It is my wonder drug I have to say). But I do still get a
lot of headaches and I am still always in some discomfort, and I do get
terrible back ache and sciatic symptoms. I am also prone to what I call
a "full pelvic lock-up" and when this happens I can hardly move. So
that’s me and now you can understand why I was so intrigued when I read
about N.S.R.T.
HOW I GOT INVOLVED WITH
N.S.R.T.
I had just finished doing my
sports massage course and was surfing the net seeing what treatments
were out there and then I found the website for N.S.R.T. So ok, yes I
was interested and curious. No bone "crunching", no manipulation, no
need to remove your clothes, working on the central nervous system, just
using you two middle fingers and only applying very gentle pressure. and
it worked (so it said), This all sounded to good to be true.
So I sent off for more
details and then arranged to meet the founder of the British
Neuroskeletal re-alignment therapy. Carole Preen (F.A.N.M. F.A.A.P.A.
M.I.F.P.A. F.B.N.R.T.A. M.S.V.A. As.Dip.NSD. the UKs leading
practitioner.
She explained how the
treatment worked, then took a consultation, and gave me a treatment, I
thought that’s nice, but I don’t really see what its going to do for
me!!!
She had informed me of some
of the reactions I might have and gave me some after-care advice. So I
went home had a hot bath as advised. I did sleep very well that night
(which is unusual for me).
The next day, well what can I
say! I got it wrong, it seemed like a double Decker bus had hit me. I
ached all over, I could hardly move, but I did feel good, over the next
couple of days the feeling of aching and stiffness eased off and I felt
really good. My back was much freer, sciatic symptoms had eased and I
didn’t have a headache. I kept thinking "no you're having a laugh, it
can not be that good!!!". But it really is that good!
So that was me enrolled on
Carole’s course at Morley College in London
I had decided that I could
only fully recommend this new treatment if it really did work- the proof
of the pudding is in the eating! So I decided that I would only have a
course of N.S.R.T. treatments. That meant no more massages, reflexology,
Indian head massages or Thai massages for me just N.S.R.T. for ten
months while I was on the course and seeing all my case studies.
SO DOES IT WORK?
So bearing in mind I am now
commuting to London about once a month, also travelling backwards and
forwards to North Wales where most of my case studies were and living
and working in Northampton and also treating I don’t know how many
people. My back and neck were not suffering anywhere near as much as I
thought they would.
I find after a treatment I do
tend to suffer with the reaction quite dramatically, but they pass
quickly and the benefits are great. One I relax enough and go to sleep,
I am out like a light. I sleep like a baby that night, and after a day
or so I feel fantastic. The head is much clearer, the neck doesn’t hurt,
my mobility is improved and the thoracic region of my back doesn’t have
that deep burning feeling. Further my lumbar region is also relived, the
pains down my legs ease and my buttocks don’t have that deep firy
feeling. So all in all it puts me right, bearing in mind I have a
permanent condition and a chronic one to boot.
N.S.R.T. is quite simply one of the best treatments I have ever had and
after ten months of just having a course of N.S.R.T. I can honestly put
my hand on my heart and say yes it
works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I would like to thank
Carole Preen for introducing me to N.S.R.T. and for teaching me. I have
to say it is the most wonderful feeling when you treat someone who is in
pain and you see over a few treatments their pain reduced or their
condition just disappear. How lucky am I to be able to give pain relief
to others and see them smile again, thats my reward? And that will do
for me.
I have been lucky enough to
work on many conditions, these include: a stroke, herniated disc,
trochanter bursitis, whiplash, headaches, fibromyalgia, back ache,
sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, bulging disc, over use/impacted
injury, stress, and a torn Achilles tendon operation that went wrong
resulting in damage to the knee. Each and every one of the conditions I
have treated has had some benefits and others have had some quite
outstanding results. If that isn’t proof that N.S.R.T really does work
then I don’t know what is.
I am lucky enough that just
some of my very happy patients have written their own reviews on the
treatment they have received, and just how much it has done for them,
those speak for themselves, I couldn't write those if I tried.
I would also like to thank
all my case studies for their time and honesty about the treatment, and
in turn for their thanks to me. It’s not me its N.S.R.T that’s done the
work.
